Rubicon4x4.com will cover your liability, up to the full $50.00 (US), if the unauthorized use of your credit card is through no fault of your own while ordering from Rubicon4x4.com's secure server. Privacy Statement
Rubicon4x4.com will not rent or sell your name, address, e-mail address, credit card information or personal information to any outside agent or third party. However, we may use the information that you provide to notify you of sales, special offers, land use information or off road events in the Rubicon OHV area. If you don't want to receive this information, all you have to do is let us know and you'll be immediately removed from our mailing list. Your privacy is very important to us and will never be compromised in any way.
Methods of Payment

Credit Cards - We accept Mastercard, Visa, and Discover. When paying with a credit card, the billing information on your order form must match the billing information on record with your credit card company. For your safety, we also require the three digit security code located on the back of your credit card in the signature area.

Checks - Cashier's checks, certified checks, money orders, personal checks and wire transfers are all accepted. Orders paid by personal checks will be held for 14 days for the check to clear the bank. Personal checks must have your name, address, phone number, check number and bank name imprinted upon the check. Personal checks with a PO Box for the address will not be accepted. Please also include your current address (if different from check) phone number, and current driver's license number and state. All orders for over $500.00 must be paid by credit card, money order or cashier's check only. PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH.

Paypal - We accept Paypal Payments. Through PayPal, we are able to accept e-Check payments and American Express credit cards.

C.O.D. - Sorry, but we do not accept C.O.D. orders.

Sales Tax
Orders shipped to an address in Alabama will be charged a 5% Sales Tax. California residents who receive a drop shipment from one of our vendors that is also located in California, will also be charged the appropriate sales tax rate for their location.
Order Processing

If you have provided a correct email address, you will receive email updates regarding the status of your order. This status is also available by signing into your account and viewing the account history page.

Processing - Please allow 24-48 hours for order processing. The actual time depends on items ordered and when you placed the order.

Shipped - In order to expedite your delivery, products may ship in multiple boxes from different warehouse centers located throughout the U.S. There are no additional shipping charges for this service. To track your packages, please see the tracking section below and key in your tracking number in the appropriate section. Please note: Tracking numbers are assigned to packages prior to package pickup. Tracking information may not be available until the package has been picked up by the carrier and goes through their scanning process.

Backordered - There may be an occurrence where we are not able to ship an order complete at a given time. Completed details for backordered items are below.

Canceled - Per your request, certain items may be canceled. Credits are processed on Thursdays and your credit card account will be credited at that time. The length of time that a credit takes to show up on your account varies between credit card companies and banks.

Shipping

DOMESTIC SHIPPING:

To calculate shipping charges for an order, please use the charts below. Shipping charges are for the United States only.

Orders received by 11:00 CST for in stock items, usually ship within 1-3 business days.  Normal ground delivery can be from 2 to 5 business days once shipped.   Special orders an truck shipments can take approximately 2 to 6 weeks for delivery depending on the items ordered.  Please note: Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays are not considered business days.

In order to expedite your delivery, products may ship in multiple boxes from different warehouse centers located around the country.  There is no additional charge for this service to you.

Expedited shipping charges will show in your shopping cart after you have either created your account or logged in to your account.   Any other shipping rates can be obtained by sending us an E-Mail with the part number(s) and your mailing address including postal code or you may call 256-757-5840, Option 4.

Winches, lift kits, roof racks, wheels and other overmax items cannot be shipped outside the 48 contiguous United States. These items cannot be shipped to Alaska and Hawaii.

Delivery Services:
Normal ground delivery is via UPS or FedEx, however some small items may be shipped by the Postal Service within the 48 contiguous United States.  FedEx and UPS will no longer deliver to APO and FPO addresses. As long as FedEx and UPS have delivery to these locations suspended, we will not be able to process orders shipped to APO/FPO addresses.  Winches will not be shipped outside the continental 48 states.

In order to better serve our International Customers with lower shipping rates, Rubicon4x4.com has partnered with a trusted third-party company, iShopUSA to fulfill orders for our international customers. Because iShopUSA specializes in processing and shipping international orders, our customers should expect a 25%-50% savings over our previous international shipping rates.

Simply put any items you wish to purchase in your Rubicon4x4 shopping cart and choose the "international checkout" option. The items will automatically be transferred into an iShopUSA cart. Warranty Policy

THE PURCHASER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING THE SUITABILITY OF ANY PRODUCTS PURCHASED. Purchaser understands and recognizes that four wheel drive parts and off road equipment sold by Distributor are subject to varied conditions and applications due to the manner in which they are installed and used.

All parts are covered only by the Manufacturers Warranties and/or Guarantees. Rubicon 4x4 can assume no responsibility for use or application by the user and hereby disclaims all warranties, either expressed or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and neither authorizes any other person to assume for it any consequential damages to property, damages for loss of use, loss of time, loss of profits, loss of income, or any incidental damage.

Purchaser further recognizes and agrees that suitability of any part sold for a particular application is the purchaser's decision and that the purchaser is not relying on the skill or judgment of Distributor regarding suitability of any product. Purchaser is solely responsible for determining suitability for all items ordered, even if they request the assistance of our sales team.

Return Policy

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with a product from Rubicon4x4.com, simply return the new, unused product in its original packaging. Special or custom orders, all electrical items, body parts, videos and publications are non-returnable. Once installed, parts or accessories of any kind cannot be returned unless you are making a manufacturer’s warranty claim (See Warranty Policy above).

Please realize that you are responsible when you order the wrong part, change your mind, or have other obvious ordering errors. Even in these instances, Rubicon4x4.com will work to accommodate you. In order to avoid charging the expense of this return procedure to all our customers (i.e., higher prices), we do ask that your decision to return be made promptly to insure “no hassle” for you or for us. To insure that everyone is treated fairly, no exceptions can be allowed. Our goal is to make the process as easy as possible. Please follow the simple steps below should a return be necessary.

How to Return an Item:

  • 1-10 days after delivery: Return the item for a refund, less a 20% restocking fee; or in-store credit with no restocking fee. Shipping costs are not refunded or credited.
  • 11-30 days after delivery: In-store credit only, less a 20% restocking fee. Shipping costs are not refunded or credited.

You must begin the Returns process within thirty (30) days of delivery. NO RETURNS ACCEPTED AFTER 30 DAYS. Go to the RGA Request Form and complete it. You will receive Return Goods Authorization (RGA) information via email within two (2) business days. Follow the instructions supplied in your email for returning your items(s). The RGA Number shall be written on the package near the return address. (Any item returned without an RGA Number cannot be accepted, and the return shipment will be refused).

The returned item must be received by us within 10 days from the date the RGA number is issued. (i.e., if the RGA is issued on the 1st, we must receive the returned item on or before the 11th.) Packages should be returned with some type of “delivery confirmation” option that requires us to sign for the receipt of your package. This protects your interest by requiring us to document “package received” and “date received” to a third party. If you are not sure that your package will arrive back to us in time, you may choose to expedite the shipping of the return package. All items returned past 10 days of issuance of the RGA will incur a 20% restocking fee.

If within the allowable time frame, you decide to request a replacement part before we receive your returned item, the replacement will be charged in full, using the same credit card and email address provided in the original order. You will receive a new order number, order confirmation and receipt via email.

Once we receive confirmation from the warehouse that your returned item was received in good resalable condition, your credit will be issued. The entire credit process can take 3-6 weeks, so please be patient.

No merchandise will be issued credit of any kind if it has been installed, modified or used in any way. All items returned that are not in their original packaging will incur a 20% restocking fee.

 

Please note that we do not pay the shipping charges involved in returning goods, unless the error was made by us. However, upon receipt and inspection by us of the returned item, if it is determined that Rubicon4x4.com is in error, the cost of returning the product (not to exceed the original cost of shipping the product to you) will be credited to your credit card. A receipt of this freight charge will be required by Rubicon4x4.com to accurately apply this to your account. Expedited shipping charges beyond normal ground delivery including but not limited to 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air are non-refundable. On exchange of defective products or replacement as a consequence of our error, Rubicon4x4.com will pay for ground shipping on the outbound replacement product only.

Body parts (hoods, side and floor panels, etc.) and hard tops are sold “AS IS” by Rubicon4x4.com. These types of merchandise can not be returned to Rubicon4x4.com for credit. All the freight damages are also the responsibility of the buyer. Rubicon4x4.com will be glad to use your selected carrier (freight collect only) instead of our choice of carriers. All freight issues should be handled by the freight carriers directly. Credit will not be issued for merchandise or freight charges if shipment is refused.

Damaged Shipments
All shipments should be inspected at time of delivery. Packages that have obvious damage should be refused and will returned back to us by the carrier (except body tubs, body kits, windshield frames, fenders, body panels and hard tops - see return policy for information about these parts). If, you accept the package and upon inspection of the parts, you find damage, you then have 48 hours to file a formal claim with the carrier. DO NOT RETURN DAMAGED PARTS TO US. keep the package and parts as close as possible to the condition in which you received them. Without the package, the carrier will void your claim. Claims for shortages due to carrier negligence must be made within five (5) working of receipt of merchandise. Please call the following numbers to report damaged shipment: UPS: 800-PICK-UPS; Fed Ex: 800-GO-FEDEX; Truck Freight, the phone number listed on the carrier's bill of lading.
Backordered Products

While we strive to keep our web site updated on out of stock items, there may be an occasion where a product that you order is not in stock. You will be notified by email or by phone if this happens. The out of stock items will be, by default, placed on pending status. As soon as the item is restocked, that item will be shipped. You are welcome to cancel the order while on pending if you do not want to wait for the product(s). Please read cancellation policy below. This does not apply to Special or Custom Orders.

Order Cancellation & Modifications
If you need to cancel or modify an order, please do so by email or by telephoning us at 256-757-5885, Ext. 109. Orders and modifications can be made up until the time that processing is complete. If the item(s) have already shipped, the normal return policy applies. This does not apply to custom or special orders.

Special & Custom Orders will require payment in advance and are non-refundable and non-returnable.
