Our Mission: To build up a new stock 2009 Polaris Ranger XP with our most popular UTV accessories, and to let the owner's grandson's do it all to prove that it's so easy a kid can do it!
When you think of WARN Industries, you automatically think of high quality, heavy duty winches and offroad accessories. We have used WARN winches on our Jeeps and trucks for over 25 years, so we were really excited to receive the XT40 winch from them!

Warn's XT40 is the most extreme UTV winch on the market. For riders looking to push the limits of their UTV, this is the winch to get. From synthetic winch rope, to mounting plate, to roller fairlead, to 3 controllers. Yes, I said 3: Wireless, hardmount and remote. The WARN XT40 UTV Winch has no competition.

We already had the front bumper removed and Trail Armor's Polaris Ranger Winch Mount installed, so the S.M.I.T.'s got right to the winch installation.

We had a slight intereference with the ECU, so we slightly bent the ECU bracket back towards the radiator and everything fit fine. NOTE: We understand that Polaris used a couple of different brackets during 2009 for the ECU mount, so you may or may not have this intereference.

Wiring couldn't have been simpler than what WARN made it! It probably took 15 minutes, max, to get everything hooked up. Everything is color coordinated!
Very convenient place to mount control box on left hand side near the radiator fill bottle.
